Curran Wood Pellets

Super Premium 100% Softwood Pellets

The softwood used by Curran is an optimal wood pellet. When pelletized, the difference between softwood and hardwood fiber is minimal. The density of the pellet makes a bigger difference than the species of wood. Tests have shown the softwood to have the lowest ash and moisture and the highest BTU making it a Super Premium Pellet. The 100% Softwood Super Premium Pellets meet or exceed the PFI* Fuel Grade Requirements for Super Premium pellets based on the following independent test results:

New England Wood Pellets

New England Wood Pellets are a high quality premium grade pellet fuel made from a proprietary blend of hardwood and other wood species. These pellets can be found at many retailers throughout the Northeastern United States.

Okanagan Wood Pellets

Okanagan Super Premium pellets are made from 100% softwood sawdust. There are no additives, bark or other possible contaminants. They manufacture their wood pellets to exacting standards. The automated and quality control processes ensure that all pellets made at their facility meet the Super Premium standard of the Pellet Fuel Institute.
