At HB Fuels we are committed to providing our customer and community with proven environmentally responsible products and services. HB Fuels was one of the first companies in the state of Vermont to offer a low sulfur heating fuel and continues to lead the way by offering Bioheat as a more responsible heating product.

Bioheat is a blend of standard heating oil and Biofuel. Biofuel is made from vegetable oils such as soybeans and canola. This blended fuel is compatible with all equipment currently using #2 heating oil. Among the many benefits of this fuel are reduced soot which produces higher efficiencies, reduced greenhouse gasses and the reduction of imported fuel as Biofuel can be domestically produced.

Our commitment to the environment carries through to our fleet of service vans, delivery trucks and septic service trucks. The majority of our vehicles run on Biodiesel. The switch from gasoline powered service vans to Biodiesel powered vans has raised our van fleet average from 9 MPG to over 20 MPG. The use of Biodiesel has allowed us to reduce the amount of foreign oil we consume, while promoting and supporting the American farmer.

HB Fuels delivers #2 home heating oil and Biofuel for your heating needs. We offer automatic and 'will call' delivery. When you choose Automatic delivery we monitor your usage and deliver automatically based on a program of usage and degree days. We also offer will call delivery in which you monitor your tank and call us when you are ready for a delivery.

This philosophy also carries over to our renewable fuels. We are proud to offer Vermont Wood Pellets, made in Clarendon, VT. By doing this, more of our energy dollars stay in our local economy, benefiting area landowners, loggers, truckers and other industry related workers.
