As part of CVPS’s smart grid project, CVPS SmartPower®,
CVPS will begin installing advanced digital meters in late February.
If you control appliance level usage (example: heater, water heater) with an automatic control package, you need to have a timer installed before the new meter is installed. You will need to contact HB's electrician to replace the meter-activated controls with a digital timer capable of controlling your usage times.
Central Vermont Public Service is offering a mail in rebate of $300.00 for materials and work performed to replace your meter activated controls. DOWNLOAD YOUR REBATE FORM HERE.
